　　卡内基梅隆大学预科班需要学六周。学生在6周的时间里，并非一般意义上的AP课程，并有机会获得3-4分大学学分，课程开设有微积分，计算机科学，科学与工程，现代语言学和英语。申请预科课程需要申请F1留学签证。
