最新消息：美国大学对新型冠状病毒应对措施！

　　目前，美国多所知名高校都在其官网发布了针对中国的旅行提示，包括斯坦福大学、西北大学、杜克大学、康奈尔大学、达特茅斯学院等学校已限制其教师或学生前往中国；另有芝加哥大学、布朗大学等作出建议其师生不去中国的决定。

　　但就2020申请季相关招生录取工作，尚没有学校就此发布调整或受疫情影响的评估，也没有针对中国大陆地区学子申请录取工作事项的特别声明。

　　所以对中国广大学子而言，当季的申请和录取工作应按规划正常进行；现在离秋季入学仍有超过半年的时间，根据专家级官方预测，届时疫情的影响相信已经结束。

　　很多家长和同学们关心的新型冠状病毒对美国大学校园可能带来的影响，V教育对美国各地一共7所有代表性的大学的目前1月31号为止的相关政策做了调研，供大家参考。学校包括：

　　总的来讲，各个学校目前相当淡定，可能也是因为美国卫生部和国家疾病控制中心之前很淡定。主要的预防措施是洗手。如果没有显性的症状，学校都不建议大家戴口罩，自我隔离，和取消任何公共活动。

　　美国卫生部在美国时间1月31号周五下午发布的关于在过去14天去过中国的非美国公民暂时不能进入美国的通知。由于卫生部这周五下午颁布的政策改变，下周可能各大学的措施和政策会有一些相关变化。这在未来1-2个月，可能对签证申请有影响。但参照过去几次类似情况来看，估计不会长时间持续。V教育会持续定期更新。

　　加州大学伯克利分校：地处北加州旧金山湾区

　　       The World Health Organization declared 2019-nCoV a global health emergency.

　　       Declaring a public health emergency over the coronavirus outbreak, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar today said the president has imposed a temporary ban onentry for foreign nationals who have been to China in the last 14 days. Effective February 2, U.S. citizens returning from mainland China would be subject to health screening and up to 14 days of quarantine.

　　The UW Advisory Committee on Communicable Diseases (ACCD) announced Thursday that it received negative test results for the third of three students who have been tested for coronavirus. Two students had previously also tested negative, and there are no remaining tests pending among any members of the UW community.

　　There continue to be no confirmed cases of novel coronavirus among UW community members. As of January 30, there is only one case of confirmed novel coronavirus infectionin Washington state. It is in Snohomish County and is not related to UW.
