　　美国留学面签流程

　　一、到达相应的使领馆后请先在外面排队，在预约时间之前等候大约30分钟。

　　二、接受安全检查。不要随身携带任何电子产品，包括手机。也不要携带背包、手提箱、公文包或手推童车等。申请人只能携带跟签证申请有关的文件。

　　三、到指定窗口递交签证申请表和材料，之后等待指纹扫描和签证面谈。等候时间大约为3个小时左右。

　　四、如果您的签证申请得到批准，护照将在面谈后的五个工作日内邮寄到指定地址。某些特殊情况，如申请需要进行行政审理、需补充支持材料或需要进行打假调查等可能会影响签证申请的审理速度并推迟签发签证的时间。

　　五、签证退还所需时间指签证官决定签发签证后将护照和签证退回申请人所需要的工作日天数。但很多申请需要进行额外审理，申请人可能需要等待数周。因此立思辰留学360老师建议申请人需提前做好准备，尽早申请签证。

　　美国留学面签误区

　　误区一：名校、奖学金是决定因素

　　有的学生认为名校的录取和高额奖学金是顺利获得美国签证的保障。

　　点评：学校的排名可能会让签证官有个直观的印象，但是绝对不影响是否发放签证的决定。至于奖学金，更不是签证的必要条件。即使没有奖学金支持，只要能提供充足的留学资金和合理收入来源，获得美国签证一般是没问题的。像广州就有获得哈佛大学全奖的学生被拒签。究其原因，是学生过分迷信名校和奖学金，而在签证准备方面的工作太草率了。

　　误区二：签证官看重学生背景

　　这种观点往往存在于毕业院校不是特别理想，或者成绩不是特别好的学生身上。他们误认为名校毕业，有非常高的托福、GRE、GMAT成绩，甚至长时间的工作经验才是签证官给他们打高分的标准。

　　点评：这些因素是大学录取时的参考标准，而不是签证官最关心的。不具备这些条件，但是把自己的学习计划设计得非常清晰，照样可以拿到美国签证。

　　误区三：家人在美国影响签证

　　持这种观点的人认为，凡是家庭有海外关系或者申请人父母已递交移民申请的，特别是出身于早期移民潮严重的地区，签证官会以“有移民倾向”为由拒签。

　　点评：学生签证申请人是否可以获得签证，主要是看他的学生身份是否有效，所要进行的学习科目是否有效，是否具有足够资金支付学习项目费用，以及他们是否有学成回国的计划。申请人是否有家人在美国，不会影响其获得签证的资格。

　　误区四：曾被拒签=“判死刑”

　　有不少学生第一次签证准备不够充分，被使馆拒签后大多心灰意冷，认为以后签证无望。

　　点评：拒签并不可怕，只要静下心来分析被拒签的理由，对症下药，补充相关材料或应答内容，就能获得美国签证。美国签证的回避原则会确保第二次签证会被另外一个官员审理申请，而他更关心的是你这次申请的变化。

　　误区五：对存款期限要求极严

　　有的家长套用其他国家的签证要求，认为美国留学对资金的存期是非常重视的。

　　点评：美国签证对于学生保证金的存期没有明确的要求。资金存期长固然方便签证官相信资金的来源合法，但是只要解释得通，说服力一样很强。尤其是目前大量金融理财产品势头强劲，很少有家长会把大额资金长期存在银行，有的家长在孩子签证前一个月或者更短时间才备好存款，签证官同样给了孩子美国的签证。但留学专家提醒家长，即使美国签证对资金要求较宽松，有条件的话也最好能在专业机构的长期指导下准备资金。

　　误区六：成败取决于运气

　　美国采取面签的形式，常常给人一种主观因素比较大的感觉。因此有的申请人把成败归结于运气。

　　点评：客观地讲，这方面是不可避免的。即使其他国家在审核材料的过程中，也不能保证百分之百的客观。实际上，所有的签证官都十分专业、敏感，并对签证政策有深入透彻的了解。反而这种灵活的面签形式可以给学生一个申辩的机会，通过提供专业的材料和对答准备，在现场可以做到扬长避短。

　　误区七：学生签证有配额限制

　　每年越是接近开学日期，美国使馆的签证预约就越是困难，这给学生造成了有配额限制的错觉。甚至有学生为了保证一次通过，会跟学校商量延期，推迟半年申请签证。

　　点评：领事馆官员颁发签证主要基于申请人是否符合签证标准，而不设任何数量限制。后期签证比较难的主要原因是有一些一签被拒的申请者都集中在那个时候二签，或者有些为了赶上开学时间申请了加急。所以，如果比较早地确定了学校，一定要提早准备，一来时间充裕，不扎堆，签证后有足够时间准备善后工作；二来万一被拒签，能为再次签证留有余地。
