　　立思辰留学360介绍，圣母大学（University of Notre Dame）或作“诺特丹大学”、“欧特丹大学”，是一所中等大小的私立天主教、研究型大学，位于美国印地安纳州圣母地区，它是一所地处南本德西北部的非法人社群。“圣母”法语发音是[nɔtʁə dam]，实际指的是圣母玛利亚。学校成立于1842年，由圣十字会牧师Edward Frederick Sorin创立而成，也是该校的第一任校长，起初该校只招收男生，截止1972年，才招收了第一批女生，如今，学校女生比例已占到47%；该校信奉天主教，从学校历史和建筑即可看出。

申请时间说明

夏季：准备草稿上网搜寻相关专业科目以及领域的教授；

秋季初期：套磁、准备推荐信、GRE考试以及英语能力测试，TOEFL/IELTS；

秋季中期：确定目标专业，准备个人陈述资料已经非正式学校成绩单；

11月份：填写申请表，考虑是否要重考GRE或TOEFL/IELTS；

12月/1月：递交申请表以及推荐信和相关考试成绩；

1-3月：、第一轮录取结束，发放录取通知；候补名单录通知将在4月15日左右发放；

3封推荐信：Arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted through the online recommendation system associated with the online application；
申请费： Submit the application fee by credit card, check, or money order using the payment system associated with the online application；
大学所有非正式成绩单：Submit unofficial transcripts from each post-secondary institution (upload through the online application)

奖学金申请：大部分申请博士学位的学生都可获得奖助学金。圣母大学研究生奖学金种类有：学费免除政策以及助奖学金。通常情况下，学校发放助学金（Assistantship）要求申请者每周工作时长达到21小时才能申请。其他奖学金没有此项要求，一般都是免费发放。圣母大学基本助学金补助金额是$17,500-21,000/年（9个月）。
