康涅狄格大学（University of Connecticut，缩写UCONN）成立于1881年，30所“公立常春藤”之一，主校区位于康涅狄格州曼斯菲尔德镇的斯托尔斯。初名 “斯托尔斯农业学校”，以纪念为学校购入土地并捐赠，为适应学校教学职能的转变，分别与1933年和1939年依次改为“康涅狄格州立学院”和“康涅狄格大学”。目前大学校长是著名历史学家和爱荷华大学前教务长迈克尔·约瑟夫·霍根博士。是美国大东部竞技联盟（BEC）的成员之一，曾三获NCAA总冠军。
