美国耶鲁大学医学院介绍

　　耶鲁大学初名“大学学院（Collegiate School）”，原位于康涅狄格州的克林顿市（Clinton），后搬迁至旧塞布鲁克镇（Old Saybrook），再至韦瑟斯菲尔德（Wethersfield）。最终于1718年迁至今所在的纽黑文市，同年，在多方游说下，商人伊利胡·耶鲁答应向当时的大学学院捐出9包货物及417本书籍，外加一副英王乔治一世的画像，这些财物被换算成560英镑——这在当时是一笔不小的捐赠，于是学校便改名为耶鲁学院。1887年，因学校角色的扩展，改名为耶鲁大学。尽管1892年耶鲁大学的艺术与科学学院便接受了女生的申请，但一直到1969年，耶鲁大学方才真正的转变为男女合校的学校。此前，耶鲁大学一直通过想合并瓦萨尔学院引入女生，多年未果后，最终两校都在1969年各自转变成为了男女合校制。

医学院

耶鲁医学院（Yale School of Medicine）成立于1810年，共设有四种类型的项目：

（1）MD及MD/PhD项目：医学博士及医学博士-PhD联合项目，通过AMCAS申请

（2）PA（Physician Associate）：助理医师项目，通过CASPA申请

（3）公共卫生项目：通过耶鲁公共卫生学院申请，请参见该院的申请说明
